What we do
Knowledge, events and careers under one roof
Our aim at iCommunity is to bring the best iOS developers in Turkey together under one roof, share what we know, and keep pace with the field through events on the topics that matter right now.
Shared knowledge
You are in the same rooms as experienced iOS developers. Technical questions do not go unanswered, and there is somewhere to pass on everything you learn.
Events and CodeBuddy
We run events that keep pace with what is happening in iOS, and CodeBuddy sessions that pair you with developers at your own level.
Career support
Roles are posted in the community groups, and our partner companies are waiting to hire iBootcamp graduates.

A Message from the Founder
iCommunity's greatest aim is to bring the strongest iOS developers in Turkey together under one roof and to support them throughout their careers. Beyond that, it is to give new graduates and interns somewhere to grow under the community's roof, and a safe start to their careers.

What our members say
A Place to Build a Network
iCommunity has been a real support in my iOS development career.
The community keeps me close to what is happening across the industry and gives me a sense of where the market is heading.
iCommunity is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to build professional connections and grow. We are improving and growing together.
I am glad to be part of this community.
Sefa AcarA New Chapter in My Career
Over the past two months, iCommunity has come to hold a very important place in my year-and-a-half-long iOS development career.
The CodeBuddy events and the teaching sessions in the community offered me the chance both to learn and to teach, which is how I improved.
Explaining technical subjects to other people in those sessions in particular helped me consolidate what I already knew and pick up perspectives I did not have.
Ünsal ÖnerSolidarity in the Community
One of the most valuable things about iCommunity is its broad and varied professional network.
I have had the chance to meet experienced iOS developers working at different companies and to trade knowledge with them.
The technical questions I asked inside the community came back quickly and in detail, so what I know kept growing.
My technical skills have moved on noticeably as a result.
Mert Adem ÖzsevenA Guide
What I liked most about iCommunity was that it guided me at every step, from the very start of being a junior through to landing the job.
Beyond technical competence, that gave me the chance to learn the soft skills that actually got me hired.
We also picked up knowledge about different paths — a career abroad, indie development, freelancing.
That turned out to be one of the most important things that sets iCommunity apart for me.
Ahmet Çağatay GünaydınExamples from Real Life
One of the most striking things about the iBootcamp programme was how the theory was blended with real-world practice. What I appreciated most was that our instructor enriched every technical subject with examples from his own successful apps on the App Store. Seeing that what we learned does not stay theory but goes into real projects made the concepts far easier to grasp.
Doğukan AkkayaA Community Made Stronger by Its Network
What I like most about iCommunity is that it does not stop at technical knowledge — it also provides a genuinely effective professional network. Through the bootcamp we got to meet not only the people in our own cohort but experienced iOS developers working at different companies. Beyond sharing technical knowledge, those exchanges let us build connections that have been an inspiration on our own career paths.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Most of what people ask is answered here. If yours is not, write to us.
What is iCommunity?
iCommunity is the community that brings the iOS developers of Turkey together under one roof. It has more than 150 members today: technical questions get answered inside the groups, events run on what is current in iOS, members pair up as code buddies, and roles are posted. The teaching side is seven completed bootcamps so far, across two programmes — the iOS Bootcamp (iBootcamp) and the Advanced iOS Bootcamp.
What is iCommunity's purpose?
iCommunity exists to support Turkey's strongest iOS developers throughout their careers, and to give new graduates and interns a solid start to theirs. In practice that is two jobs: somewhere experienced developers answer the questions, and a route from a bootcamp bench to a partner company's team. It is why the community is not an open group — membership runs through the bootcamps.
Can I find a code buddy in iCommunity?
Yes — you can meet developers close to your own level and pair up as code buddies. CodeBuddy is the name of the sessions where two developers at a similar level pair up and work together: writing code side by side, reviewing each other's code, and not being stuck on your own. The pairings are organised through the community groups, and graduating from a bootcamp is what gets you into them.
Can iCommunity help me find a job?
Yes. Posting in the relevant iCommunity groups puts you in front of employers, and our partner companies are eagerly waiting to hire talented iBootcamp graduates. Those are the two routes the community gives you: the roles circulating in the groups, and the partner companies' graduate pool. It is also why iBootcamp runs a mock interview and sessions on writing a CV and tidying up your social accounts — technical knowledge alone does not get anyone through an interview.
How can I join iCommunity?
For now, only people who have taken part in one of our bootcamps can join iCommunity — there is no open membership form. The route is this: fill in the iOS Bootcamp (iBootcamp) application form and finish the programme. Graduating adds you to the community groups, the CodeBuddy sessions and the roles posted there. Each term seats ten.
